How the free tools work

Each tool sends what you enter to the CastPDF API, which renders it with Chromium and returns the file to your browser. Nothing is saved on our side, and the content never appears in our logs. A short, mostly invisible human check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs when you press the button, to keep the tools free for people rather than scripts.

Up to 50 pages per PDF, 10 files a minute and 100 a day from one address.
A small "Made with CastPDF" line sits in the footer of each PDF.
Scripts in your input never run, and nothing is loaded from other websites.

When to switch to the API

The tools make one document at a time. When your app or your spreadsheet needs the same document again and again, the PDF generation API does the same work from code. Paid plans have no footer, templates are designed once, and batches turn a CSV or XLSX file into many PDFs. The Free plan includes 100 PDFs a month.
